Description

I have decided to buy this type of "all in one" EAA-like astrograph/device because I have always been curious about the "all-in-one packeage" concept.
I know AP purists will shun it, and maybe EAA purists too, since it involves "black box" processing of the image, but I find it quite attractive in its semplicity of operation and use.
It is also enough compact to be carried around relatively easily, even if a Vaonis Vespera is probably much better at that.
Collimating the F4 114 mm mirror is not very easy and hence in the pictures shown here stars are not always "round" ... I am progressively improving, but I have not yet achieved correct collimation over every corner of the sensor.
Pictures are in black and white (except fot M67) because in my opinion, at least with city level light pollution, color rendition for anything else than star clusters is a bit debatable.

Anyway, NGC898, to the extreme left of the NGC891 image, is a 14 magnitude galaxy, imaged with 4s light frames from a Bortle 8 sky ... not bad!
